Welcome to the furry offshoot of my site, chaoticiak.neocities.org! You might know me as Sky, or chaotic_iak elsewhere. You can navigate using the menu at the top.
This site is exclusively for my furry side. For more information about myself in other communities, go to my main site, chaoticiak.github.io.
I'm a furry, in case the existence of this sub-site isn't enough. The name Sky comes from my main sona.
What does that mean? It's not really easy to explain. There are Wikipedia and WikiFur for some broad definitions, but being furry is personal and an identity, so it might be different for different people. The main unifying definition is an inclination toward anthropomorphized animals and other non-human creatures, but the specifics may differ broadly.
For me, I love fluffy and cute things. "Anthropomorphic animal" still leads to many ways to interpret it, and I lean toward ones that look soft, cute, and adorable. There's a Japanese term called "kemono", and I think that encapsulates the kind of look that I adore. If you want to see examples of them, just look at the kind of art I repost on my Bluesky account (see below).
Being a furry is also a way to embrace different identities, emphasizing different aspects of me. I have many characters, including two main fursonas — "furry personas", characters that reflect an ideal me.
I do happen to have a huge Pokémon bias, too. Pretty much all my characters are (anthro) Pokémon, I tend to like art more when it's Pokémon, and so on. Mostly the cute kinds, like Vulpix, Eevee and its evolutions, and so on.
Furry is a community, and you can make friends that way. That said, I don't participate much in the fandom; I'm pretty introverted. But I've made several friends from being furry.
Furry is also a fandom, and there are a lot of creative works made by and for the community. I don't draw, but I do write stories, and I sometimes commission art.
While being a furry is not necessarily sexual in nature, it is definitely also a part of the fandom. A lot of the origin of furry was from being repressed from "normie" spaces, not unlike what LGBTQ+ people experience today. Also, apparently making your community more adult-oriented means it's not advertising-friendly, which is great; it's not being overrun by companies.
That does extend to me too. I don't hide that I have an adult, NSFW side. It is part of me, and I embrace it.
But I know you, the reader, might not want to be subjected with such stuff. All NSFW content will be hidden behind spoiler blocks marked clearly in red boxes like this, and any NSFW pictures will require a click-through to look at. (I don't actually think there's any problematic picture, anyway.)
These are some places you can find me online. Some of them are a mixture of furry me and other sides of me. My main site has other ways to contact me, but I'm practically never a furry on those other ways (because e.g. they are real life-based).
Some of these are NSFW in nature. They are marked with the ⚠️ emoji.
This is my main place online, after all the stuff happening on Twitter. Although I mostly just repost cute furry and Pokémon pictures. Not necessarily exclusively furry; it's also my main social media account, so it may include my other interests like puzzles and games.
I decided to split off the AD profile. This one is much more furry-focused.
Note: Replace [my username] by chaotic_iak. A little obfuscation to defeat bots.
If you want to contact me for the first time, also include what you want to say. Don't just say "hi". I generally assume those comments are spam. (Obviously it's much more fine if we've talked before.)
Furry-wise, I'm more active on Telegram; many of my online furry friends are on Telegram.
I use Discord too, although not too much as furry. But I do also have some online furry friends on Discord, and I'm in some furry servers.
Note the ending of the address.
If for some reason you can't contact me via Telegram or Discord, you can reach me via e-mail. I check my e-mails pretty often; you can expect it to be read within 24 hours, likely less. If I haven't replied by then, either I forgot to reply to your message or it went to my spam folder; try sending me another or contacting me some other way.
As a furry, I'm a creative person and I do have a few pieces.
Since I'm primarily a writer, I think a site more geared toward writing is a better place to serve my needs.
That said, while I do want to bring over the stories I posted elsewhere, I also want to rewrite them, and I haven't gotten around to it. So it's currently kind of behind.
My main gallery, although I'm looking into using AO3 as my main archive of my stories instead of FA. I do still post some commissions and other art here.
A backup gallery in case FA goes down, as it happened a couple times in the past. But I don't update it enough, whoops.
I have a few places where I hang out as my OCs, occasionally roleplaying.
MUCKs are such an old technology, but I joined Tapestries pretty late (in 2017?) and there are still quite a lot of people around. This is my main hangout place when I just want to act a bit like my OCs.
I think I started on FurryMUCK, but I now extremely rarely visit it.
I have an F-List, but it's kind of outdated. One day I will update it.
I also used to peek into F-Chat every so often, but I basically no longer do it nowadays.
